At Hearts & Hands of Maryland, we believe strong families are the foundation of strong communities. Families may experience seasons of financial hardship, relationship challenges, parenting stress, unemployment, housing instability, grief, isolation, or other circumstances that can place significant pressure on the household.
Our Family Support initiatives are designed to meet families where they are, provide compassionate support during challenging seasons, and connect them with the resources, knowledge, and opportunities they need to move forward.
Grounded in our Christian faith and commitment to serving with dignity and compassion, we work alongside individuals and families—not simply for them—to help build stronger relationships, greater stability, personal confidence, and pathways toward self-sufficiency.

Marriage Mentoring
412 is a faith-based marriage mentoring program designed by our co-founders, Chad and Tracey, to strengthen marriages and committed relationships through intentional mentoring, practical relationship education, spiritual growth, and community connection.
Inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12— the reminder that a threefold cord is not quickly broken— 412 recognizes that healthy marriages are strengthened when God, husband, and wife are intentionally woven together.
The program creates a safe, supportive environment where couples can learn from experienced marriage mentors, develop practical relationship skills, address challenges before they become crises, and build marriages that are emotionally healthy, spiritually grounded, and resilient.
Economic Empowerment

We believe economic empowerment is about more than getting a job or balancing a budget. It is about helping individuals and families develop the knowledge, skills, confidence, resources, and opportunities necessary to build financially secure and fulfilling lives.
Our Economic Empowerment initiatives are designed to help people move from financial uncertainty to stability, from stability to opportunity, and from opportunity to economic mobility. Through education, coaching, workforce development, digital skills training, entrepreneurship, and strategic partnerships, we equip individuals and families to take greater control of their economic future.

Exciting News: Hearts and Hands of Maryland Has Expanded to Texas!
We are thrilled to announce that Hearts and Hands of Maryland will soon expand its reach to the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area, bringing our mission of faith, hope, and empowerment to even more communities with Hearts & Hardware.
As part of this exciting expansion, we will launch programs designed to equip young adults with the digital skills needed to thrive in today's technology-driven economy. Through hands-on training, career readiness workshops, digital literacy, professional mentoring, and connections to education and employment opportunities, participants will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to pursue meaningful careers and achieve long-term economic mobility.
We believe that access to technology and digital skills is more than a pathway to employment—it is a gateway to opportunity, independence, and generational success. Our goal is to help young people develop the skills employers are seeking, while empowering them to build sustainable careers and brighter futures.
This expansion reflects our continued commitment to serving communities with compassion and purpose by investing in people, strengthening families, and creating pathways to self-sufficiency.
The Mission:
Hearts and Hardware empowers underserved young adults in poverty-prone areas of North Texas through supportive, tuition-free technical vocational training. By mastering enterprise hardware diagnostics, network engineering, and corporate readiness, our students bridge the digital opportunity divide, earn industry certifications, and are primed to secure entry level tech careers.

Mission H.O.P.E. is a community-based initiative dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, incarceration, reentry, and recovery from substance use disorders. Our mission is to restore dignity, provide tangible support, and create pathways toward stability and self-sufficiency.
